Milestone First Birthday Cake Smash Photography Session
Cake smashes are always so fun! I love watching little ones slowly explore their cake and then dive right in. Usually once they get a taste of the frosting they are all in. It’s a fun tradition for one year olds! And even for two year olds too!
With my cake smash sessions, you’ll have special pictures of your little one, and your little one exploring their cake. And I also love including you into the action too. Your little one will check in with you and feed you cake usually. It’s just too precious and sweet to not capture.
My sessions can take place outdoors. My first outdoor session was during the pandemic out of necessity, and I fell in love with doing it outdoors. I think having it outdoors in a casual backyard setting brought in mom and dad naturally. And having them interact with their daughter melted my heart.
I also offer studio sessions too. My set up and props are minimal because I love for the focus to be on your little one and family. We can create a custom color scheme with a colorful backdrop and balloons and coordinate with a special outfit for your little one. In addition to the cake, I like including props like a number 1 and your child’s favorite toy or stuffed animal. Then after special portraits and one with mom, dad, and any siblings too we’ll bring in the cake!
